The Bachelorette Finale Recap

The show of the summer has come to an end. It is sad, but at least we have Bachelor in Paradise to look forward to the rest of this summer. This season was honestly sub-par in my opinion. Usually every season, I fall in love with one guy and am dying for them to win. This season, I did not really like any guy and did not think that any of them were all that great or there for the right reasons.

Bachelorette Overnight Dates Recap:

Alright let's talk about the bachelorette this week. There were two episodes this week. Overnights were Monday and Men Tell All was Tuesday. I wish I would have thought of this earlier this season but you could literally play a drinking game and drink anytime JoJo brings up Ben or how last season was for her. It is brought up constantly. Did you know that Ben told JoJo he loved her last year but chose Lauren instead? Anyone? Yeah I didn't know that either. Geeze.

Robby was first for the overnights. Lucky man, no sloppy seconds for him. I have read and read about how bad Robby is and all of that but he even had me fooled this week. So JoJo, who knows nothing about how he truly is, would definitely fall for him. I am not sure if his feelings are genuine. I can only imagine they are not because he fell in love with her after 10 minutes so that should tell you something. Of course she she gives him the Fantasy Suite Card and whatever happened is left to your imagination. JoJo admits in an interview that she loves Robby but it too afraid to tell him. Anyone else notice that he just now started calling her Joelle? What is that about? He thinks since he made it to the top three he can start calling her by her real name?

Next is Jordan. JoJo really grilled Jordan at dinner about how he knows he is ready to be engaged and all of that, which shows she is serious about him and needs to make sure he is on the same level. However, of course he gets the fantasy suite card. The next morning when they went to eat breakfast JoJo said "it's our first breakfast together." The exact same thing she said to Robby the morning before. Again, she said that she loves Jordan but is too afraid to tell him. In Jordan's interview after the fantasy suite he was smiling so hard, saying they got close last night and all that. So basically spilled the beans there! As if you didn't already know what happened.

Poor Chase. He is so sweet and I honestly think he is pretty genuine. Apparently that is not JoJo's type though. They seemed like they had the best day together and she kept saying that she is crazy about him. She gives him the fantasy suite card and the second he tells her he is in love with her, she runs. She should have done that with Robby when he said it after 10 minutes of being together. She actually let Chase go once he told her that because she said she did not feel the way she should feel. That was honestly so sad. But even worse that she did not cry that much but said that was her worst good bye of all, when a week earlier she was almost hyperventilating about saying goodbye to Luke. Interesting..

Needless to say, Robby and Jordan are her final two.

Men Tell All was Tuesday. That was basically all about Chad again. All of the guys bashing him and him being cracking jokes back at him. Some of the things he said was quite funny though.
He straight up told the truth about Robby threatening his ex to not say anything else to media. Which was proven by Reality Steve when he showed an email his ex sent to him. So he isn't lying there. I did find it kind of funny when he told JoJo that Robby left his girlfriend to go on the show and Jordan is a liar and cheater. Laugh. Out. Loud. JoJo was pissed though.

All in all I am excited to see the final episode and After the Final Rose next week. AND Bachelor in Paradise is back next Tuesday! That's a good one!

Thanks for reading! See you next week!

Bachelorette: Hometowns Recap

Okay now. I am sorry I am late on releasing this. I have been out of town so I have been behind. But let's talk about the Bachelorette hometowns.

First up was Chase. How sweet was the conversation between him and his dad. Coming from divorced parents I really did feel for him and completely understand where is coming from about not wanting to have that life. His mother was super as well. I find it hilarious that his mother said she could tell Chase was in love with her within 5 seconds of them walking through the door. lol. How is that even possible? Other than the sweet talk they had with Chase's dad, I did not find that hometown to be all that special or memorable.

Next was Jordan. Anyone realize how many times she brought up that Jordan's brother Aaron was not there? Like does she really want to be with him or what? He took her to his old high school and she met his old teachers. Again, she saw a picture of Aaron and brought up about him not being there and her not understanding why. Then when Jordan took her to meet his parents she met his mom, dad, brother, and his girlfriend. So, they sat down to eat and there were two empty chairs, and guess what? JoJo brought up about how Aaron was not there and how upset Jordan's family must be. Her and Jordan's brother (unfortunately for JoJo, isn't Aaron) go and talk. The only thing they talk about is Aaron not being there, then asking if he is just not talked about. Okay, I am bored! It really makes me wonder if JoJo wants Aaron to be around because of his fame? And she wants fame too? I am not sure. Jordan tells JoJo he loves her and she said she wants to say it back but she stops herself because she worries about getting hurt. Basically just told all of America she loves Jordan but is too chicken to tell him.

Robby was third up for hometowns. They start off by riding a horse and carriage through his hometown in Florida. She lets us know that since he was the first to tell her he loves her, that made them grow so much closer. Out of all of the parents, Robby's mom was by far my favorite. She seemed super sweet. Her talk with JoJo was actually really nice. JoJo then went to speak with Robby's sisters and while doing so he was with his mother who was spilling the beans on the juice Reality Steve has on him. For a second, I actually believed Robby and felt bad for him. He had me thinking he was going to cry. He went in and interrupted his sisters and JoJo and asked to speak with JoJo. He tells her what his mother told him and what does JoJo do? Basically said she has had the same issues with other guys before and have gotten hurt. But she trusts Robby and is okay. Really? I just don't get it. She trusts him because he is "in touch" with his feelings and told her he loves her first. So that means anything that comes out of his mouth must be true right? That makes me laugh.

Last but not least was Luke. This hometown was interesting. It truly was a hometown date because Luke's whole town was there to meet JoJo. Kind of like hometowns on American Idol. Do you think he got the two shows mixed up? Anyway the whole town had a picnic with JoJo and she pretty much did not get much time with anyone to talk. This hometown seemed like it did not further their relationship at all, it stalled it. JoJo even told him that she missed him that day. He did not even think that maybe introducing JoJo to his entire hometown was maybe not the best idea. The best part of it though was when he walked her down the path of candles and there were rose pedals formed in the shape of a heart. *enter heart eyed emoji here* I am such the romantic and just loved that. However, he kind of tried to tell her he loves her by telling her his heart is hers. Nice Luke. Way to step up. Take her to the most romantic place ever and then give her a lame speech.

When it came to rose ceremony, JoJo told everyone in an interview that she needs to let go of Luke. It was like he read her mind because before she handed out the roses he asked to talk to her outside. He then decides to man up and tells her he loves her. So instead of telling him that her plan was to send him home, and let him go outside to save him the humiliation, she sends him back inside. Then she starts balling her eyes out saying she does not know what to do now and then....To Be Continued..
I hate when they do that. So we will not find out until next week if she still decides to send Luke home.

Next week is a two episode special. The rose ceremony and over nights are the first episode on Monday, I believe. And Men Tell All on Tuesday night, and we are reunited with meat head Chad then. So excited..not!

Hope y'all enjoyed this weeks episode!

The Bachelorette Top 4

Okay, you must be watching The Bachelorette! If not, then you should be. If you haven't seen the show, JoJo is the lead and she started out with 26 guys. After this last episode on Monday, she has narrowed it down to four men. Jordan, Robby, Luke, and Chase. If you watch the show you can for sure see who her front runners are. She basically is already in love with Jordan, who does not have a good reputation from what I heard. Actually, either does Robby. Lets talk about these guys hair cuts though. They must all use the same hair dresser because that hair style has been very popular this season. Anyway, lets start with Chase. Do we even know a lot about him in all honesty? I mean, he is cute, but for real, I feel like he is so quiet and all we know is that he does not like to open up. Oookkaayyy? Boring!
Let's talk about Luke. Heellooooo Luke! He is a Texas boy (which are the best ones) that can ride horses and out of all the men left I feel like he is the best and most genuine. And him and JoJo have some passionate make out scenes, which I feel like is what this show is all about. Who can make out with JoJo the most, for the longest time, and look the best doing it. However, does he ever play around? Or smile for that matter? That is such a turn off for me. But I am not the bachelorette so whatever floats JoJo's boat.
Now Robby. I never found him attractive, or the front runner, as he likes to think he is. He was the first to tell JoJo he loves her after spending what? 45 minutes one-on-one with her? Laugh Out Loud! I think he did that just to be the first and try to become the front runner, which did not work. Because if you are watching the show, you know Jordan has been the front runner since day one. I honestly did not expect Robby to make it this far, but I am glad he made it farther than James Taylor. Poor guy was so self conscious, and just could not hang with the other men.
Okay Jordan! Honestly, I would have given him my first impression rose too. I was in love with him the first night. Then I heard about his reputation and all things changed. There is just too much evidence to deny the kind of man Jordan is. I could only hope he would calm down for JoJo, but chances do not look good. JoJo has shown favor to Jordan all season. If someone tells her something negative about him, she is not okay with it and shuts it down. Then goes and makes out with Jordan to reassure herself. So, it is plain to see, Jordan is the front runner.
Home town dates are next week! This is where things get real good. Do the parents even really believe their boys are already in love? Do they believe in the process? Do know the reputations their sons have? Guess we will find out next week!

Let me know who you do and don't like!

Thanks(:
