Hello New York

I am not a huge traveler. I honestly am terrified of flying, so if I have to get on a plane to go anywhere, chances are I might not be going. However, I could not turn down going to New York. This trip was a trip of a life time and I am excited I get to share it with you.

We did so much on this trip. I went with two of my aunts and one of my cousins. We all had a fantastic time and jam packed our days with the best touristy stuff.

The view from our hotel was just gorgeous! There was a rooftop Bar and Restaurant on the roof of our hotel that overlooked all of the buildings in New York.

Times Square is full of people. Shoulder to shoulder full. I was actually really intimidated at first because it was hard to stay with my family because it was impossible for us to all walk next to each other. However, the view of Times Square at night is breath taking!

The 9/11 Memorial was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my entire life! It is very quiet because everyone there is paying their respects. The water falls are like infinity water falls. There are two, one where each tower stood. There are names all around both of them for the people who were killed in that tower and the first responders who also perished while in that building. The sight is one to see. I would for sure go back to it if I make it to New York again.

One morning after breakfast we got to take a horse and carriage ride through Central Park. If that is something you can do, I recommend doing it. The sights you see are amazing and you actually get to see a big part of the park.

One of the days we got to ride the subway and go out to Coney Island. That was a lot of fun as well. For the first time I got to put my feet in the Atlantic Ocean. Even during the summer, it was pretty cold.

I wish I took more pictures. I also got to see "The Lion King" on Broadway which was absolutely wonderful. There is nothing like Broadway in New York. Just Stunning!
New York was a trip to remember and my Aunt made it all possible for me! What a trip of a lifetime.

If you have any questions or want any restaurant suggestions let me know(:
