The Importance of Date Night and How to Look Your Best

Couple's too often do not realize the importance of date night with your significant other. From being in a relationship for over six years and studying couple's, I have learned that date night can truly help a relationship prosper. Whether you are in the early stages of a relationship or if you have been together for years, date night is ALWAYS important. If you are just starting out with someone, going on a date can truly help you learn more about them in an intimate setting. If you have been with your significant other for years, going on a date can help you both step away from every day life and just focus on each other. If possible, a date night once a week could really help grow a relationship.

Now, how to look your best. The makeup I used was makeup that benefited my skin the most. I wanted to look glamorous but also natural at the same time.

I have been trying out a new Primer that I actually really like. It is by Pur Minerals and is call the correcting primer. I got the 5 piece starter pack by them and other than the brush, the primer is really only thing I can use from it. I really really like this primer. It honestly feels like silk. Once I started to rub it into my skin it felt super soft and like silky on the skin. My makeup also lasted all night with no problem.

For foundation I used one of my favorites. I used Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy powder foundation. I have this in shade Clearly Pearl 02. This foundation I really love. It contains Aspen Bark and Tea Tree Oil which helps blur imperfections and heal the skin. I do firmly believe in this product and what it claims to do. You can wear it with or without a primer, but I like to wear it with one. This foundation is worth the price tag.

For concealer I tried something new which I am really excited about and I already love it! I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles in shade Neutralizer. This concealer truly covered my dark circles with no problem whatsoever. This looked great under the eyes and did not crease or look cakey. I have jumped on the bandwagon for this concealer!!

Now for eyes. I usually do not use eye shadow. I have talked about why I just do not mix well with it. However, I really liked the eye look I went with last night. I used an eye shadow palette by Elf called Everyday. I used a mixture of a couple browns and some lighter shades on the lid. The colors
I used are shown below. It looked really good and I did not use an eye shadow primer and the eye shadow did not crease and it lasted all night!

For eyeliner, of course I used the Elf cream eyeliner pot in black. I am set in my ways with this eyeliner. It is the darkest and boldest eyeliner that does not smudge or fade at all! It is a must have!

For my brows, I again used the Elf brow pencil in shade taupe. I have also talked about this brow pencil non stop. It does the trick for me and with the price, you just can't beat it!

For mascara I used a favorite. I used the Love&Beauty by Forever 21 Mega Lash. This mascara is to die for. It lengthens and darkens the lashes but also makes them look so natural. It does not clump the lashes and it holds the curl in them!

And Last but certainly not least. My holy grail beauty product. I used my Sephora bronzer in Los Cabos. The most amazing bronzer I have ever used and will forever continue to use!
Here is a close up of what the finished product looked like!
