Okay now. I am sorry I am late on releasing this. I have been out of town so I have been behind. But let's talk about the Bachelorette hometowns.
First up was Chase. How sweet was the conversation between him and his dad. Coming from divorced parents I really did feel for him and completely understand where is coming from about not wanting to have that life. His mother was super as well. I find it hilarious that his mother said she could tell Chase was in love with her within 5 seconds of them walking through the door. lol. How is that even possible? Other than the sweet talk they had with Chase's dad, I did not find that hometown to be all that special or memorable.
Next was Jordan. Anyone realize how many times she brought up that Jordan's brother Aaron was not there? Like does she really want to be with him or what? He took her to his old high school and she met his old teachers. Again, she saw a picture of Aaron and brought up about him not being there and her not understanding why. Then when Jordan took her to meet his parents she met his mom, dad, brother, and his girlfriend. So, they sat down to eat and there were two empty chairs, and guess what? JoJo brought up about how Aaron was not there and how upset Jordan's family must be. Her and Jordan's brother (unfortunately for JoJo, isn't Aaron) go and talk. The only thing they talk about is Aaron not being there, then asking if he is just not talked about. Okay, I am bored! It really makes me wonder if JoJo wants Aaron to be around because of his fame? And she wants fame too? I am not sure. Jordan tells JoJo he loves her and she said she wants to say it back but she stops herself because she worries about getting hurt. Basically just told all of America she loves Jordan but is too chicken to tell him.
Robby was third up for hometowns. They start off by riding a horse and carriage through his hometown in Florida. She lets us know that since he was the first to tell her he loves her, that made them grow so much closer. Out of all of the parents, Robby's mom was by far my favorite. She seemed super sweet. Her talk with JoJo was actually really nice. JoJo then went to speak with Robby's sisters and while doing so he was with his mother who was spilling the beans on the juice Reality Steve has on him. For a second, I actually believed Robby and felt bad for him. He had me thinking he was going to cry. He went in and interrupted his sisters and JoJo and asked to speak with JoJo. He tells her what his mother told him and what does JoJo do? Basically said she has had the same issues with other guys before and have gotten hurt. But she trusts Robby and is okay. Really? I just don't get it. She trusts him because he is "in touch" with his feelings and told her he loves her first. So that means anything that comes out of his mouth must be true right? That makes me laugh.
Last but not least was Luke. This hometown was interesting. It truly was a hometown date because Luke's whole town was there to meet JoJo. Kind of like hometowns on American Idol. Do you think he got the two shows mixed up? Anyway the whole town had a picnic with JoJo and she pretty much did not get much time with anyone to talk. This hometown seemed like it did not further their relationship at all, it stalled it. JoJo even told him that she missed him that day. He did not even think that maybe introducing JoJo to his entire hometown was maybe not the best idea. The best part of it though was when he walked her down the path of candles and there were rose pedals formed in the shape of a heart. *enter heart eyed emoji here* I am such the romantic and just loved that. However, he kind of tried to tell her he loves her by telling her his heart is hers. Nice Luke. Way to step up. Take her to the most romantic place ever and then give her a lame speech.
When it came to rose ceremony, JoJo told everyone in an interview that she needs to let go of Luke. It was like he read her mind because before she handed out the roses he asked to talk to her outside. He then decides to man up and tells her he loves her. So instead of telling him that her plan was to send him home, and let him go outside to save him the humiliation, she sends him back inside. Then she starts balling her eyes out saying she does not know what to do now and then....To Be Continued..
I hate when they do that. So we will not find out until next week if she still decides to send Luke home.
Next week is a two episode special. The rose ceremony and over nights are the first episode on Monday, I believe. And Men Tell All on Tuesday night, and we are reunited with meat head Chad then. So excited..not!
Hope y'all enjoyed this weeks episode!
